4th Wensday [sic]
Weather very cold. Coldest that we have had Yet. drill from four untill [sic] half past four PM. I was detailed as an [illegible] hand at brigade head quarters under Capt James Fitts went there about 5 PM I have been orderly at the Colonels tent since last Saturday morning. Was releived [sic] this morning. It was extremely cold last night.
