The snow melted very fast to day. It is very sloppy and muddy no news in camp Received a letter and paper from uncle Sam 31st Saturday
this morning the regt went out on picket Whit Savacool, Mart Kintner and myself was detailed as orderlies for the Col we did not go on picket wrote a letter to Aunt Mary got my boots half soled which cost one dollar. The snow is melting very fast. Very muddy yet.
