25th Sunday
It rained quite hard during last night but cleared off nice this morning. We packed up and got started about one o’clock PM and arrived at our old camp near white oak church about dark. the mud all along the road was very deep sometimes up to our knees we traveled very fast and came the same road that we went last tuesday. When we got to our camp we found our house all torn down as was all the rest. Was very tired when we got in and did not put up my tent – slept on the ground. received a letter from Aunt Mary. drew one days rations
