(Jan 24th Saturday (continued))
out about one hour they came in and Co. F and D went out. after they had been out about one hour, the rest of the regt. Moved on and camped for the night in the oak woods that we did last tuesday night. Soon after we got our tents up Co F and D came in. It was dark then. it has been cloudy but no rain today. the mud is awful wagons go in up to hub. Have to have from eight to twelve horses and can not hardly get along then.
