It has been cloudy and light rain all day. No new in camp. at night drew whiskey rations. Sold mine to Lieut C.C. Shimer for two postage stamps. he bought all the rations that he could. The mud is awful. The pontoons and the wagons are stuck in the mud up to the axle[?]
