There Is nothing new today a regimental Inspection was ordered but it was countermanded Mart Kintner and I have tented together since the 5th of October last and to day The Woodruff came in with us. we got some wheat flour and made wheat cakes and we relished them very much.
Dec 23 Tuesday
In the morning we all went out and carried and cut firewood In the afternoon Mart Kintner and myself went to the brook and washed our clothes. I was not very well today had a severe headache. The weather has been clear and nice all day dress parade at 5 PM. Drew fresh meat today
