10th.
Drawed one days rations. Went out with CC Simpson and Mart Knitner [sic] and washed my clothes. Major Gen. Geo. B. McClellan and Gen. Burnside and Gen. Franklin with about three hundred aids and body guard passed through camp this morning. There was a great cheering and excitement little Mac riding with his hat in his hand and waving it wrote a letter to mother.
11th.
Nothing new today except company drill in the afternoon
12th.
Drew two days rations drilled twice. Got a letter from F.L.[?] 13th.
drilled twice received a letter from Mother and one from Jasen Sidsman[?]
