8th.
In the morning it cleared off and was a very nice day. Went in to camp and put up our tent. Went and saw Capt. Fitts at night drew one days rations
9th.
Reville [sic] at 6 AM. Commenced marching at half past 8 AM. it was cold in the morning and a very nice day to march. Passed white plain station about a mile from where we camped. Passed a couple of small towns but I could not learn the name of them. Camped about one o’clock PM in a woods along the road side about half a mile west of New baltimore of[?] Greensville. Marched about eight miles today.
