26th Sunday
Clear and very hot until about four oclock when it clouded over and we had some very heavy thunder and lightening but only a few drops of rain. At night went to city point. It is only about three quarters of a mile. There is a few houses and a great _____ _____ around this place. The river is full of ____ of all kinds. There is three or four acres covered with hospital tents.
