June 17th Friday
Started about eleven AM after going two miles. Overtook the 9th corps and sent headquarter train and as they cannot get our of the road we went into park. Was just going to bed when we was ordered ___ hook up and move on. Started at half past ten PM. ____ the ____ of a mill that had been burned today. At the mill we turned to the right. Crossed(?) the city point and ____ railroad about two miles from city point and parked in an open field at a crossroad(?) about one mile from the latter place. Parked at six _____ in the morning of the 18th.
