May 21st Saturday
Orders to move at eight oclock. Got started about 12 ___. Went in the town and turned to the right on the Bowling green road. Parked down between the river and the heights. The roads are very good. _____ Grace church and a town contained two houses called Sycamore. Went very slow. Parked about ten oclock in a wheat field about three or four miles from _____ station. It is very warm and dusty. Felt very tired when we got in park. I heard some very heavy cannonading in the direction of Salem Church.
