18th Wednesday
Clear and warm today. Very light shower in the evening. Started about five oclock this morning. Got to park about half past eight. Sent a days ration out to the front. Have to issue every day now. Col Buck(?) Capt. Wheelan and Billy Lealon returned today. Saw Joseph ____ and ____ ____ today. Supply train came from Belle plain landing brought some soft bread, whiskey and hams. Issued whiskey.
