2nd Friday
All thru night on the cars arrived
at the Relay house about six
oclock this morning as we
came to the Relay house our
train ran in (to) another that
was standing on the track
Our engine and three cars
was slightly damaged no one
was hurt arrived in washington about two PM
Issued three days rations
and went on board of the back (?)
the brigade went on the
Thor A. Morgan and the 6c
baggage horses and DB's
on the Nellie Benbz(?)
five left the dock about
five PM. went to Alexandria.
When we anchored
Sleep on deck under the life
boats
