Started at three oclock
and arrived in Baltimore
about eight. walked
to the lm·Ter depot. was
stopped by a detective
but passed after showing
my papers. Started from
Baltimore at ten oclock
arrived in philadelphia
about two oclock. Stoppen (sic)
then about half an hour
and then started for
newark where I arrived
about eight oclock
Stopped for the night
at the national Hotel
went to the Grorni (?) & Essex
depot to see if I could
now get up to Madison
