Cloudy with light drizzling
rain all day. very dull
in park went downtown
and got my hair cut
and sharnpooned (sic) & shaved
Capt Conven went to
Baltimore today. He
went in citizen clothes
Friday
4th (Thursday crossed out)
Cloudy and light rain
rite (sic) cold. Supply train
carne in from the front
Russell of our dept was
captured by Guerilla but
escaped. Borrowed
a suit of citizen clothes
and got a pass as (?) citizen
clerk to go to Baltimore.
start at two oclock in the morning
