order about sending (?)
rations to the front was
countermanded and
another one received for
them to go tomorrow
Busy all day on August
paper. No news
25th Tuesday
clear and very pleasant
supply train started for
the front at daylight
Capt Conven goes out
and is ordered to stay there
until the next train goes
out. very dull and
no news. I have ten months
from today to serve the US Govt
