clear and very pleasant today was ordered to go to the front and issue two days rations Russell and I went out. found the brigade on the same ground that they was on the 20th Issued and started back about dusk did not get in until ten oclock as some of the drivers got drunk and could not drive their teams Just as I was leaving park to go out I received a letter from Aunt Mary with Carter de visti of mother and Ella
