7th, Sunday.
Cloudy but no rain. Was over to the regiment. Could hear cannonading
but it seemed to be a good deal further off than it was yesterday. Wrote
a letter to Joseph Coult (?).
8th, Monday.
Clear and pleasant today.Quite cold last night. Went to headquarters
today. Nothing issued today. Supply train went to the station.Cordoryed
in the barn today.
