23rd, Saturday.
Clear and very pleasant today. Issued three days rations. Supply train
sent ot the station. No excitement at all, very dull.
24th, Sunday.
Clear and very pleasant today. Went to the Reg~ment. Found that the company
was on picket. Saw some of the recruits that had lately come to the Regt. Saw
Guthemi (?), Ben Booth and Bob Gray. Had Roast Beef and mashed potatoes
for dinner.
