Dec. 29th Tuesday. Clear and very pleasant today. Issued two days rations. QuarEerrnaster Sayne started for home this afternoon having got a leave of absence for ten days. Supply train went to the station today. Got soft bread and other staples. Quartermaster Crane in charge.
30th, Wednesday. Cloudy and light rain. Not much to do. Very dull. Train went to t e stat1on. Went over to the Second Regiment.
