25th Wednesday. Clear and pleasant today. Issued one days rations. Supply train went to the station and brought up some flour, potatoes, and ham. At night went over to the first regiment sutlers. He had come up during the day. Went to bed about eight oclock. About half past eight orders came in to move at five in the morning. There was a party of officers came to see Capt. Fith and there was a good deal of whiskey drank. It was very noisy in the park at night.
