21st Saturday. It has rained very steady all day. Issued two days rations. Regular issue an four days special issue. Had a bmg for officer Isley. Sold my to doctor Helm of the Second Regt for fifty dollars. Did not get the money yet. He is to take the horse tomorrow and pay me on Monday. There is a great deal of gambling going on since the last pay day. More than I ever saw before. The supply train went to the station twice a day. Got some soft bread and some ham.
