6th Friday
Clear but very windy today.
although it was very cloudy
last night there was no rain.
Went to the depot Early in the
morning and drew stores but could
not get any bread. came back
and issued two days rations.
About eight oclock at night
the train came up and I got
twenty three hundred loaves of
bread. Orders came to have the
teams ready to harness at half
past six in the morning.
It is supposed that we are
going to fredericksburg again
there was an empty train of
Can (?) come up and they commenced to
load him up with stores
that way then. The wind blew
very hard all day but went
down at sundown
