Sept 27th Sunday clear and quite warm today. Issued one days rations the wagons remain packed up and ready to move at any minute. Do not know however soon the order may come. In the afternoon was over to the Company. Saw Lewis Coehman James Smith and Capt. Griggs there. the supply train went to the station and could not get anything at all.
28th Monday Clear and pleasant today. Issued one days rations Wrote to mother and sent ten dollars in the letter. No signs of moving wagons yet. remain loaded Capt. Aaronson arrived tonight.
