about ten o'clock tonight the 2nd Brigade formed a torch light procession consisting of nearly three thousand men. After cheering for Genl. Hamlin and singing some songs they marched to these Hd Q's and sang and cheered for Genl. Wheaton and staff and Hamlin who arrived soon after the procession the generals made short speeches. The procession was a most splendid sight
