June 1 Thursday
Clear and very warm Started about six a.m. Crossed Wolf Run Shoals at the same place we did two years ago[.] My horse has a sore back and I rode in with the wagons. Today passed Fairfax Station and camped at the ___ house. Issued three days rations that was drawn at the station. Orders to move at five a.m. tomorrow[.] drew some soft bread today. Mart Kintner and I went down to the creek bathing
