May 27 Saturday
Cloudy but little rain today[.] Laid in camp all day[.] the supply train got up today and we issued two days rations. rumor of a move in the morning. Sales very heavy today.
May 28 Sunday
Clear and pleasant No sales or issuing today Mart Kintner & Lieut Woodruff took supper with me after which we all went to corps Headquarters to see Savercool[?] who is under arrest[.] orders to move at five in the morning
