(June 28th Sunday continued) a splendid country. It is well cultivated and the farm houses are large and substantial. It is said that hooker has been relieved and General Mead [sic] is in command. We did not park untill [sic] ten o’clock. Could not get to bed before 11 and we have to get up at three in the morning and issue one days rations. the troops start at four It is said that we are going to new market our brigade was in the centre to day the second was ahead and the third behind
