Clear and pleasant today. Issue five days rations. had a very bad headache. Capt ____ has a leave of absence and starts for home tomorrow morning.

Clear and pleasant. Nothing issued today. Went to the hospital and got a dose of pills(?). Went to the 2nd Regt. Received a letter from ____ ____ and one from Cousin Mary ___ ____.
