July 26th Sunday Quite a number of prisoners came in today. the third Corps has been passing all the morning was ordered to move at eleven AM went about one mile to the right of we laid last night and on the west side of the town. Parked in an open field. The small brook ran through the field. The Brigade is on the opposite side of the road Issued one day of light rations and fresh meat and one day pork. It looks very much as though we was going to stay here some time. All the tents are being put up and camps laid out.
