16th Saturday
Clear but not very warm today. In the morning went to the shops with father. after that went to Job Woodruff and around to see my friends. had a very fine time took my watches to the shop to get fixed. Bought a pair of [illegible] shoes for Blake and [illegible] for $3.75.
17th Sunday
Cloudy with some showers today. In the morning went to the Methodist Church with Harry Simpson. In the afternoon went to take a ride with Nate Hand[?] and Clark Simpson when just above the andover church the near side hindwheel broke down. Had to put a rail under it and drive home on a walk at night event to the presbertan [sic] church.
