Helped issue to the brigade today. In the afternoon it commenced to hail and continued nearly all night. accompanied with thunder and lightening wrote a letter to mother the supply train went out today and brought hard tack

Clear and not very cold today. the supply train did not go out today Walter Murphey went home today on furlough
