Jan 13th Tuesday
This morning at 9 AM we had brigade dress parade and drill. Company drill and dress parade in afternoon. today we drew one days rations of flour and fresh meat and two days of potatoes. 14th Wensday [sic]
This morning we had Brigade dress parade. In the afternoon Company drill and dress parade. The left wing came in today. Today Charley Simpson and Obe Lance got boxes from home by express. Charley gave us some of the eatables and for supper we had Sausage Butter Cheese pickles potatoes and Coffee
