4th.
Reville [sic] at 6 AM packed up and started at about 9 AM. The Country was very nice and very hilly. We marched about 9 miles today it was quite warm. We traveled through the fields along the road on account of the wagon train being in the road. We crossed some streams and had to lays [sic] rails across for Bridges. We camped about four A[?]M on a hill in an open field. We had the right of the brigade to day. The country abounds with game rabbits being in abundance also quail in any quantity.
