10th Friday
Clear and very hot today. Got up at four oclock. ____ at six. Started at seven. Got back to park about twelve. Started at one to go to the front to issue three days potatoes three days beans(?) and one days ration of rice. Got through about six oclock and back to park about seven AM very tired. Had a big rush of officer sales. On the way to the white house we _____ the railroad about a mile above _____ station. It is the first station fourth of the landing.
