23rd Thursday
Started at half past six
this morning. walked to
park Station, Took the __
at seven oclock & ten minute (?)
when at Meade Station
Two freight cars were
thrown from the track. Nobody
hurt but the car was
broken up.
When we arrived at city
point, we had to fall
in line and get our
furlough stamped at the
Provost Marshall. Then
at the wharf to get our
names registered. Then
in line again to get on
the Boat.
Started at 10 oclock and
twenty minutes arrived at
23rd Thursday
