clear but very muddy
the wagon that went
out last night got back
about daylight this morning
did not issue. The Brigade
also came in about the
same time, so I don't
have to go out today
issued Trerh Best also
three days rations and
a half Ration of whiskey
Received a letter from
Hother, about three oclock
to night Heavy artillery
firing on our right
