clear and very pleasant
drew some soft bread
in the morning from
the post commissary
went to the front
and issued four days
rations. got back about
dark.
27th Sunday
Started this morning with
l an escort of fifty men for
martinsburg where we
arrived about half past
two PM was just four
and a half hour coming
in. When I got to
Camp found an express
box from home
