17th Thursday
cloudy and light Rain
Supply train started
to the front at five this
morning. Capt Conven
went with it
was down town twice
very dull.
18 Friday
Cloudy with Light Rain
orders for the whole train
to move to winchester But
soon after countermanded
then order came for the
supply train to go out with
four days rations.
It is supposed that the
army are going up the
valley again. went down
town. my express Box Came today
