5th Wensday (sic)
Clear and very pleasant
Started about daylight
this morning passed through
Strausberg at noon.
Had dinner in the town
when we got to Newtown
the train went in park
and about thirty officers
and men (myself included)
Came on to park
arriving there about
six PM
The supply train
from Martinsburg (WV) is
not in yet. This is the
seventh day I have been
in the saddle and in that
time have traveled
one hundred & forty
miles
