Cloudy with heavy showers and high winds the train started from Bolivar heights about daylight this morning Capt Conven (Converse ?) started from here about eight went to the front and came back about twelve at night there was more horse racing today in spite of the disagree able weather no news in park and very dull. had my horse shot today
