Clear and very pleasant. Nothing new for ____. Received a letter from John N. ____. Lamming (?) went out today. Got light and went to Harpers Ferry where he was arrested and put in the guard house. In the evening went down to the river and had a wash. The can are moving on the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad. But dont know how far they go up.
