clear and very pleasant today. Our Division moved last night to the left of halltown In the afternoon I went down to harpers ferry and got shaved In the evening went to the river bathing and lost two finger rings took them off and laid them on a stone for fear of losing them and came away with
out them. There was quite a fight in the train today clubs and stones was freely used. Received a
letter from F. (?) Layse
