14th Sunday
very warm most of the day. towards evening a wind sprung up had . a few drops of rain A very heavy shower passed around us have been to work all day on the may paper. made an abstract of issue to troops Saw a funeral procession leave the town just below us. It seemed queer as they had no martial music with it.
