6th Saturday
I guess we hooked up last night so as to be up early this morning. For we did not start untill daylight this morning. Just as we started it commenced to rain but soon cleared up. We crossed the monoccavy (sic) passed through Jefferson Retenville, Knoxville _____ & Sandy hook crossed the potomac on pontoons at harpers ferry parked on the hill just above the ferry~ parked at nine oclock John N. Silverra returned today a citizen clerk for Capt Fitts
