2nd Tuesday
Drew transportation and three days Rations found the Brigade about two miles out on the Jefferson pike. After we got through issuing went back to the city. There is plenty of men strolling around town. Guards are placed on all rebel sympathers (sic) and secessionists. They are all to be sent outside of the lines.
