July
6th Monday
Weather is pleasant today
Last night passed the same
as night before except that it
rained harder if that were
possible. Was ordered to move
at half past six, but did not
get off until near nii.le AlL
Moved about a mile and
parked just on the edge of
the town. pitched one tents
and fixed to stay some time
for we was told that we would
stay there until we got supplies.
(The following parenthetical remark was written across bottom of page, perpendicular to main text.)
I was
absent minded
here for i commenced
to write
on the opposite
page before this
one was full and did not know it
