June 1 Friday
left Hilton Head So Ca at 11 o'clock on the steamer "Emilia" paid $7 for my fair
and extra Baggage to Savannah Georgia. Went inside passage through Skull Creek
across Pocotaligo Sound by Tybee island and Fort Pulaski arrived at Savannah
about 3 1/2 o'clock passed the ship[?] Dictator in Skull Creek. After arriving
ins. Saw Col. F_ and
