11th Thursday.
Clear and pleasant today. The 15th Rent was paid today. Issued soft
bread. No news of any kind.
12th Friday.
Cloudy but no rain today. Issued three days rations. Supply train
went to the station .and got soft bread and other stores. Went to the
regt and got my money ($26). Bought a new pipe stem. A lot of veteran
volunteers went home this morning.
