July, 1864 24th Sunday Clear and very warm today-Noting done on the afternoon went to washington. found Capt Converse (?) sick in bed At the Metropolitan went out and got some medicenes for him got back to Camp about eight Pm orders to move in the morning. Suppose we are going on transport to city point (Va.)
